Okay, so I am not actually going anywhere, but I’m excited just the same. It has been a LONG time since I took a class. I have done my share of tutorials, and a web class to brush up on my HTML skills. A little while ago I came across this opportunity to take a free online course with “Make it in Design Summer School” with The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design and MOYO Magazine! I have fallen in love with surface pattern design. To me this feels like the perfect blend of my art and my graphic design. For a while now I have been playing on my own and following super talented artists like Jessica Swift and Mary Tanana (definitely go check out their work!) I have heard such good things about other courses that are offered here and am super excited to get started.
